There’s a kind of precision that isn’t measured in hundredths of a millimeter, but in passion, commitment, and team spirit. It’s what the Cortine Volley Under-17 women’s team demonstrates every week, and which OMPS has decided to support together with OMPS2, its sister company, tied to the same family.
This season, the two organizations are supporting the team as sponsors and have chosen to provide the athletes with technical clothing: a concrete gesture to accompany them in the gym, on away trips, and to every match.
A gift that is worn
Jerseys, shorts, sweatshirts, and tracksuits: technical apparel is the first sign of belonging to a team. Wearing the same colors means feeling part of something, even before touching the ball.
For the Under 17 athletes, it also offers practical assistance. Providing suitable clothing comes at a cost, which often falls on families or the club’s coffers. Offering it to the girls means easing this burden and allowing them to focus on what really matters: training, growing, and having fun.
Because local sports are important to us
For OMPS, a company doesn’t just exist within its own warehouses. It lives in the community that hosts it, among the people who work there, their families, and the valley communities. Giving back to this community is both a responsibility and a pleasure for us.
Youth sports are one of the best ways to do this. In the gym, girls learn to respect the rules, trust their teammates, deal with defeat, and work toward a common goal. These are the same values we seek every day in our work: consistency, precision, and collaboration.
Supporting a club like Cortine Volley also means recognizing the work of the coaches, managers, and volunteers who, often in their free time, make all this possible. Without them, many girls wouldn’t have a place to train and spend time together.
Who is OMPS
Since 1942, OMPS has been manufacturing precision small parts using CNC technology at its Caino facility in the province of Brescia. We turn and machine steel, brass, and aluminum with centesimal tolerances for clients in various industrial sectors.
Tradition and innovation have always been our two souls, along with a strong bond with the local area. The same bond that today brings us to the sidelines, alongside the young volleyball players from our area.
